Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Medical Coder to perform accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding for inpatient and outpatient services. The role includes clinical documentation review, audit support, mentoring junior coders, and close collaboration with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to maintain regulatory compliance and optimize reimbursement.
- Minimum 5 years of professional coding experience.
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding rules, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with EHR systems and coding audit tools is a plus.
