Job Description
Deluxe Furnishing Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Import and Procurement Manager to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will excel in negotiating pricing and payment terms with suppliers, calculating duties and taxes for imported goods, and possess a deep understanding of banking procedures related to imports. Key responsibilities also include ensuring production timelines are met by maintaining vendor relations, sourcing competitive freight and shipping rates, and coordinating with customs agents and transporters for timely deliveries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is essential, along with preferred experience in the building materials industry. A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
