Job Description
WFP is seeking a Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driver for a 6‑month service contract (possible extension) based at Achini Bala warehouse, Peshawar. The incumbent will operate UN fleet vehicles (trucks, forklifts, tow trucks, water bowsers), perform daily checks and basic maintenance, collect fuel, complete logbooks, ensure vehicle cleanliness and mission readiness, report defects or incidents, and provide occasional translation support.
- Education: Secondary school and valid HTV driving license
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a driver, preferably with international/UN or embassy experience
- Skills: Defensive driving, minor repair ability, radio/communications use, security awareness, basic first aid
