Job Description
Proto IT Consultants is currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Medical Biller to enhance our healthcare billing team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of medical billing practices, insurance protocols, and denial resolution, with hands-on experience working with both public and private payers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately submit claims to private insurance companies, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Conduct insurance verification, pre-authorization, and eligibility checks.
- Effectively review and resolve claim denials.
- Prepare and submit timely appeals with the required documentation.
- Apply knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD codes for accurate claim submission.
