Job Description
The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of Emergency Medicine Consultants, providing exceptional emergency services and supporting consultant duties. Responsibilities include the safe and efficient assessment of emergency patients, including triage, ordering tests, and following up on results. Effective communication regarding patient referrals and ensuring proper disposition at the end of shifts is essential. Regular patient reviews and timely documentation in clinical notes are required.
Applicants must hold current Full Registration with the Irish Medical Council and ideally be a member of a relevant college. FCPS training should be complete, along with 3 to 4 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
